December 15 - international tea day

International Tea Day is an unofficial and fairly young holiday, which is celebrated annually on December 15.

Most of all, it is celebrated in countries in whose economy tea production occupies one of the main positions - these are India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Indonesia, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Vietnam.

The main goal, oddly enough, is not to popularize the drink itself, but to draw public attention to the problems of tea production.

A few facts about tea:

• The first mention dates back to around the 4th century AD;

• More than 3 billion cups of tea are drunk in the world every day;

• Tea also contains caffeine - a mystery, but it has a milder effect on the body than coffee;

• In ancient times, seekers of the elixir of youth considered tea an essential component.

We would like to congratulate everyone who is involved in the supply and sale of tea: «ALOKOZAY», «AZERÇAY», «BASILUR», «MESH-IMPORT-TRADE», «Карпатська скарбниця здоров'я», «Ti-Hub», «Sri Lanka Tea Board». Thanks to you, we always have the opportunity to take advantage of such a healing and delicious drink!
