"Snail Hunters" at WorldFood Ukraine 2021

A farm specializing in the breeding and rearing of snails of the genus Helix Aspersa Maxima. The meat of mollusks up to 80% consists of water, almost 10% protein, 0.6% fat and about 11% carbohydrates, contains vitamins B6, B12, iron, calcium, magnesium, amino acids, in particular, a complex of essential amino acids: linoleic, linolenic and arachidonic. Due to the absence of cholesterol, high content of microelements, a large amount of valuable protein, which is almost one and a half times its content in chicken eggs, snail meat is low-fat and very nutritious. Its energy value is 87.5 kCal / 100g of product and is an ideal option for dietary nutrition.
