Round table "Ukrainian farmers and craft products on the shelves of supermarkets and restaurants"
Audience: retailers, owners of grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, farmers and producers of craft products.
We'll talk about farming and the production of craft products. Demand for farmers products increases. Leading grocery chains have organized their own departments with farmers products which are brought from all over Ukraine, but collaboration with small farmers has its own, different from working with big plants specifics. During the round table we will discuss the problem of certification of farmers products, how to cooperate with the Ukrainian farmers, and also talk about logistics and promotion of these products. Professionals who are engaged in the selection of the farmers products for the shelves of largest supermarket chains will speak about their experience. Many restaurants are also beginning to increase their cooperation with farmers. But is it possible for the restaurant to work exclusively only with farmers products today? What problems can be faced? How to works when the farmers product are always different? This will be discussed with the restaurateurs, who decided to implement farm products in their menus.
