Middle class Ukrainians reducing the level of consumption of beer and vodka as the main alcoholic beverages, the culture of wine consumption becomes more popular. Despite the crisis, the trend of consumption of alcoholic beverages in the bars is not declining. Popularity of wine bars are logical continuation which follows the fashion for cocktail bars that Kiev swept the last three years.

There are so many things which are important to know before you open your first wine bar. During  discussion owners of Kiev and Odessa wine bars and restaurants will share their experiences and talk about the preparation of wine lists and menu, guests wine education and their work with local wine producers.

Leading winemakers, sommeliers, buyers and representatives of professional associations will gather at round table to discuss the main problems and prospects of wine culture and winemaking development in Ukraine. We will discuss important issues about quality control of domestic wine production, support the development of local growers and winemakers, creating activities to enhance knowledge about wine among Ukrainian consumers.
